LiquidFi was started in 2018 with the goal of introducing technology to solve numerous challenges in the post-origination mortgage ecosystem. Throughout the financial crisis, various counterparties had issues trusting one another with respect to data integrity, processes, and loan management. A number of these issues can be resolved using technology to increase transparency and efficiency, but not without participation from industry participants.
We take a different approach than most fintech companies because our team understands the complexity of the mortgage market, from origination and loan purchasing, to servicing, securitization, and trading. We recognize the challenges of each part of the process, and strive to engage industry participants to better the ecosystem for all.
